Natural hair: Eco Styler Gel and Cantu Cleansing Cream Shampoo

Success is something you attract by the person you become. Jim Rohn

What up peeps, Sarah here and I know it's been long but I am going to jump right in and show you guys the products I used for my wash n go. I took a flatlay picture of those products from Eco Styler gel, to marini gel, coconut oil and  Cantu cleansing cream shampoo.

I've only started using Eco Styler gel and Cantu cleansing Cream shampoo so I'll do a review later  after two more times. What I can say is that I've loved the products and definition. These are great products to use when transitioning from relaxed to natural hair. I had this weave for about a month and now that it's out, I am back to my tresses.

Well so far I am loving the  curls.  I did  a two strand twist and later had my hair in bantu knots.
Here is the final outlook:
And another pic that I adore:

Have a great week guys.

Favourite Hair Products.

Hello guys, how you doing? A lot of people have been asking what I do with my hair and I've decided to show you the products that I use. Don't take it as the gospel but basically these are some products that I love.

Marini Curl Magic
What I love about this product is that it's more available in the market than Eco Styler gels and it really defines curls. I really loved it when I was transitioning and I am still using it. I bought it at Nakuru cosmetics, not the one on Kenyatta avenue but the one near Tidy's. It does say that it doesn't leave flakes, it does. Generally I would recommend it, it cost around 800 Kshs that's around 8 dollars.

Organics Conditioner

This conditioner smells divine, plus its organic. Its aqua based so it has no sulphates, and really makes my hair soft for easy detangling. It's really lovely and gives your hair and scalp a dose of freshness every time.

Olive Oil
I don't need to sell you this. Olive oil gives life back to my hair. I am going to do a length check
soon. My hair is definitely stronger and thicker. It really brought back life to my heat-damaged hair.

Beauty Formulas Styling Gel
Like you guys, I'm going to be really honest with you, this gel doesn't define curls though it does get it moisturised. I bought it at  Nakumatt,Westside Mall in Nakuru and because I am not about to waste a whole can of gel, I mix it with marini curl magic. It costs around 300 Kshs on the higher side, which is about 3 dollars.

So guys that's my favourite products when transitioning to natural hair.  I'm going to be plaiting my hair soon because it's too cold here. It snowed here. Right in the middle of Africa, where the equator passes snowed.  This tells you the impact of global warming.

                        Welcome to DisMuide.
Hello there, thank you for visiting my blog.  I am Sarah nderi and have created this blog for all natural sistas who got natural hair or want to transition and don't know what products to use, especially in Africa.

When I started my natural hair journey, it was so tough because high-end and foreign products like Eco-Styler gels and cantu gels can be a bit pricey and the demand is waaay higher than the supply thus scarcity. Knowing what products to use was really tough and I watched YouTube videos but none of those products are really available in Kenya, and  if they are available, they are pricey.

I'm going to be doing product reviews of high-end products, as well as other products and giving you a glimpse of how to style your hair.

Walk with me and lets have fun. Cheers!!

PS: I wasn't sure how to write this posts but wrote it anyways.  I am going to give this blog a facelift but in the mean time interact with me in the comment section and feel free to give me any  pointers. xx
